E-voting cast for student elections |
|
For the first time, Far Eastern University will utilize a computerized
system in the upcoming Far Eastern University Central Student
Organization (FEUCSO) and institute student council elections this
February 29. Electronic voting (E-voting) will change the traditional
election process where ballots are used. E-voting is an electronic-based
voting procedure, almost similar to that of the faculty evaluation
process. The machine-assisted election is introduced to maximize the use
of computers within the University and to meet the demands for immediate
election results.

named Ambassador of Remembrance |

Among 120 representatives worldwide, Institute of
Accounts, Business and Finance (IABF) student Gino Ray
Garcia was named as one of the Ambassadors Of
Remembrance, chosen by the Israeli embassy in the
first International Youth Congress in Jerusalem,
Israel last January 27-29.

leaders gain awards in national conference |
|
Two Far Eastern University (FEU) students proved themselves as
promising future leaders nationwide as they gained three awards
in the 11th Civitas Asia Student Conference Series at the
University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) last January 31 –
February 2. Being the delegate with the best and most number of
ideas contributed to the group, Carlo Benedict Sarmiento, PRO of
English Language Circle garnered the Most Radical Dreamer Award
and Creme de la Creme award among 34 students in his group.
