Two third year Far Eastern University (FEU) students grabbed second place in the 3rd Pinoy Quiz Show last January 14 at the University of the Philippines (UP)-Manila.

Jordan Cabandong, AB in Political Science student, and Ricardo Villas, Jr., BS in Elementary Education represented FEU and competed with 50 participants from 25 colleges and universities in National Capital Region.

Participating schools included UP-Diliman, UP-Manila, Adamson University, Ateneo de Manila University and San Juan de Letran,

UP-Diliman and UP-Manila participants emerged first and third respectively. The FEU-team received P3,000 cash.

The annual quiz show was organized by UP-College of Medicine Regionalization Organization.

The quiz show promotes academic excellence which tests knowledge on Philippine history, arts, culture, sports and entertainment.
